1939 State Championship in baseball – pitched final game, won 1-0 and scored the only run
1940 Went to Ohio St for 2 weeks
1941 Service – Out of service in 1942
1941 Mountain State League, Welch - Went 20-9, 230 innings, 175 Ks, 2.89 ERA
1943-44 Hartford Chiefs baseball – went 12-7, 2.70 ERA in 150 innings, 110 Ks
1945 San Diego Pacific AAA Coast League
1946 Boston Braves Spring Training
1947 San Diego Padres
1948-49 Milwaukee (Got hurt)
1950 Sent to Dallas
1957 Opened Tim's Tavern
1984 Tim's Tavern passed to Tim's 3 sons
-1st Team All-County as a senior for the McKinley basketball team - Coached by Bup Rearick
-McKinley Baseball teamate of Red Michaels and Sam Purses
-Won the state semi-final game as the starting pitcher
-Triner would run everywhere. He loved to run, shag balls or just keep moving. He said his habit of perpetual motion would keep him relaxed and the legwork would help strengthen his arm. The San Diego coach said he would “tie Tim down” if he didn't slow up
-On the Braves AAA he was supposed to pitch against the Braves pro team in an exhibition – His father passed and he went home to be with his family in Canton. But he pitched against Warren Spahn in another exhibition game for Hartford against the Braves
-Suffered a seperated shoulder as result of a fall during Navy commando training. This caused him pitching control problems at one point in his career
-Pitched a 1 hitter through 6 innings in first appearance for Hartford. Hartford won pennant behind Triner in 1944 for the first time since 1931
-Hartford sold Triner and another player to the Braves at end of the year to protect them form the draft. This did gauranteed the would be invited to spring training for the Braves
-Boston traded Triner's rights to San Diego
-Suffered an arm injury with Milwaukee. They sent him to Dallas to help rehabilitate his arm
-Tim started Tim's Tavern. Famous for their fish, Tim's restaurant is located in Canton on 3233 Parkway St NW 44708
